If it’s one thing I’m obsessed with its eyebrows. I don’t know about you but the current state of my eyebrows always directly correlates to how I’m doing at any particular time. If they’re freshly done – I feel so much better about life. As if a weight has been lifted. But if you’re like me, a fresh eyebrow wax (threading or pluck) is not enough. I spend probably 5 minutes of my day filling in my eyebrows (and I don’t regret it at all). Eyebrows frame the face and who doesn’t want fab brows…
On the subject of fab brows, I was kindly asked to try the Fab Brows Duo Colour Kit in the shade ‘Dark chocolate’ and I can happily say this is my favourite brow product of 2016 (and 2017 so far!). If I’m honest I’d never heard of the Fab Brows company before but after doing a little research I have found out they’re a cosmetic company in the UK that specialise in high quality brow products.
Here are my thoughts on the product (like brows, my review is concise):
· 6 useful stencils for those who need a little guidance or if you want a specific look… one for almost every day of the week
· Two shades – For lighter and darker areas; I tended to deviate towards the dark as I like the more dramatic look
· Mirrored compact – Perfect for getting up close and getting into those spare areas
· Two sided brush – For shape and definition; I used the sharp angled brush mainly although the fluffier side is great for eyeshadow!
I think the bonuses with this product is that it’s smudge proof, sweat proof and waterproof… and it lasts 24 hours. I even had a few people ask me if my brows had been tinted…
And of course – here is how it looks on me:
My only gripe with the palette is that it isn’t very travel friendly, but this don’t really bother me too much. I’d rather it be a little bigger than usual and not have to worry about it breaking in my bag. I’ve smashed so many palettes and bronzers in my life, the thought of smashing this one brings a small tear to my eye (Yes, I am dramatic).
The only other brow product I can compare this to in terms of quality is the Benefit Browzings (which retails for £24.50) but the problem I have with that is the wax element to it. It tends to dry up really quickly so I then only use the powder side. The Fab Brows kit is great as you can use an eyebrow gel, pencil or hairspray (sparingly) to set it.
It retails for £20 and best of all, for each online sale, Fab Brows donate £1 to Women’s Cancer Research UK. If this isn’t fabulous, I don’t know what is?

That looks like a great set! I never find those stencils useful; maybe my face is too small or something lol. I’ve been using the Eylure powder/wax combo. It’s travel-friendly in a small, sturdy container.

Thank you! I don’t find the stencils useful either! The Eylure one sounds like such a good dupe for Benefit Browzings – definitely going to check it out! xx

This looks fab!. I’ve only ever used stencils once but I just couldn’t get on with it!, not sure if it’s just because I’m so heavy handed?.
