GOSH is one of those brands that I’ve always been aware of but never really dabbled much in apart from their iconic holographic nail polish.
Gosh is exclusive to Superdrug and their price point is at the higher end of drugstore, so still affordable if you’re on a budget. My aim for 2017 was to try to stop purchasing high-end make up (apart from base products like foundation) and get back to using more affordable brands.
Urban Nature
On that note, I was recently invited to the Gosh Spring Summer 2017 launch at the swanky St. Martin’s Lane hotel in Covent Garden, to have a peek into their new range of products. Their mantra is based around quality, creativity and affordability. If anything this echoes MAC as they harbour the same ethos, just a tad more expensive.
The Gosh SS17 range is all the idea of ‘Urban Nature’, taking inspiration from the modern city landscape of cities and environmentally friendly buildings. Along with this, a new ingredient has been introduced into some of the products in the range, the Dandelion flower, known for its beneficial ingredients to humanity.
I could waffle on about this all day but the best thing to do is head down to Superdrug and give all this make up a whirl. There is so many new products available such as: the Infinity eyeliner, Volume Serum mascara, Lumi-drops and so many more. I swatched a few of these at the launch and was SO impressed, the eyeshadows were buttery, the eyeliners were creamy and smooth and the concealers had shades for darker skin-tones. Well done Gosh!
Thank you
I would like to say a huge thank you to Gosh and the Z-PR team for inviting me to take a look into their new range and for the amazing goodie bag. I have since tried some of the liquid lipsticks and I’m SO impressed at how flattering the colours are on my skin tone (I’m NC45 for reference).
Let me know if you’d like a detailed review?!
