I was kindly sent a copy of Domina to review and although I haven’t finished it (I’m a slow reader), all I can say is that it is SO good so far. If you’re not familiar with the title, it is the sequel the L.S Hilton’s 2016 novel ‘Maestra’. I can only describe it as Gone Girl meets Girl on the Train with a dash of Fifty Shades, but so well written.
Domina picks up exactly where the end of Maestra ends and without wanting to spoilt it for you and protagonist, Judith Rashleigh, is on the run yet again. L.S Hilton’s writing style is intelligent, thought-provoking and keeps you on the edge of your seats. Maestra was my favourite read of 2016 and I had never fallen in love with a book so quickly. It was relatable, educational, thrilling and exciting. If you love art too, this book is for you.
Here is a little snippet to whet your appetite:
‘My game of cat and mouse didn’t feel so much fun now that I was the mouse.’
I’ll be posting an update to Domina when I’ve finished it, so stayed tuned. You can purchase Domina here and Maestra here.

Please note, Domina was sent to me for my review by Bonnie Zaffre Publishing, but all opinions are my own.
