The London Grind
I’m not writing about a new form of gyration or a new hipster coffee shop… I’m talking about us Londoners. Diverse, talented, interesting, we all makeup, in my opinion, the best city in the world.
I’ve written about my disdain for gentrification and my desire to leave in the past on my blog but this place will always be my home. There is so much in this city to explore, enjoy and educate others about.
Recent events such as the tragic Grenfell Tower fire, London Bridge and Westminster terrorist attacks have really got to me and I’m sure they’ve got to you too.
So much is unexplained, we all want answers, we need to be able to heal, but it doesn’t happen overnight.
The ‘media’, I say that in quotation marks because there are problematic publications and fake news flying around these days, must be taken with a pinch of salt. The media has the power to sway public opinion, portray people as demons and often report incorrect facts.
Again, this post is just a series of ramblings but this is my platform to send a message, a message to who, I don’t know.
So if you’re reading this, remember life is short, be grateful for the gift of life and being around your loved ones.

As a Londoner myself I can completely relate, and the attacks recently definitely get to your core and make you appreciate the little things. xx Sending my love,
