When the invite for a floral evening with Pandora landed in my inbox last week, I was so excited. As a blogger you must think my inbox is filled to the brim with invites and fun things to do but most of the time its spam emails that I swiftly move into my junk folder. Pandora, on the other hand, got a response straight away. Anyway enough talk about emails and onto what went down at the Pandora event.
It took place at the Ivy Restaurant in Chelsea and I have been dying to go here for the longest. The Ivy Market Grill in Covent Garden is the only one I have been to but stepping into the Chelsea make me feel like I was part of the Kings Road elite if only for a few hours.

I was greeted by the Pandora team and a glass of prosecco and whilst waiting for a few others to arrive. I got talking to another blogger (Hi Emma if you’re reading) about work, blogging and London life before we had to take our seats and begin the floral crown-making workshop…
Florals for spring… or a summer wedding?
I’m not good with my hands in terms of getting down with crafts, but I can draw, so this was definitely going to be a challenge. Floral crowns are very festival, a little Lana Del Rey or the adorable Princess Charlotte at the royal wedding. And that was just what we’re getting in the mood for at the event, all things weddings. Wear your crown high and proud
I wasn’t sure if I was going to be any good a making mine so I just thought ‘don’t overthink this Charlotte and get on with it’. It turned out to be really fun and after a few glasses of white wine, the floral crown maker in me came out. I wanted to go Lana Del Rey but ended up being a little more abstract slay…
Apparently, if you’re making them for a wedding, they’re put together the day before and kept in the fridge. I guess making 20 pieces or more for a bridal party at 6am would be a challenge!

Can we just take a moment to admire the latest Pandora pieces though?
I’ve always admired Pandora’s jewellery as it is minimal, elegant and really pulls an outfit together, whether its casual or glam. Don’t get me started on the bracelets though, I’d probably bankrupt myself trying to collect them all… especially the travel ones.
Their new collections make the perfect addition to a wedding outfit, whether you’re the bride, bridesmaid or a guest. I cannot wait to be wearing my crowns (the floral one and earrings) all summer and I hope you’re inspired to get crafty too.
