So here is my foodie round up from my first trip of 2020 and I’m not going to lie I have returned from Vienna struggling to button my jeans and a little out of breath when running for the tube. It’s weird how four days elsewhere can mess up your ‘fitness regime’ but in the spirit of not feeling guilty for overindulging I bring you the foodie guide to Austria…

Afternoon Tea With Whittard
I finished off the afternoon tea with a pot of the Vanilla Honeybush flavoured herbal infusion which was just as sweet as it sounds. If you’re ever planning a day out in London’s Covent Garden, visiting the Whittard tea bar is an absolute must. Or if you’re in the area, pop in for a sit down and pot of tea.
Peabody’s, Holborn – Review
The other week I popped down to Peabody’s Coffee Shop in Holborn to try out their lunch offerings and see the new space. If you work in the area or just happen to pass through, it’s walking distance from Farringdon and Chancery Lane stations. Not wanting to venture solo, I took my blogger buddy Jess from LWIG and the other half of my podcast, The Hustle Hotline, with me.
Tea & Chocolate Tasting With Whittard
We learnt about the history of Pierre Marcolini and the journey he took from being a young man in the world of confectionary to luxury Brussels chocolatier. It was so much more motivating than the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as his love of chocolate came from a passion for desserts and wanting to be a master of the craft. Now where does tea get involved?

Early Morning Sambazon Smoothies – A Review
Sometimes you have to wake up early and just be that person who makes a smoothie to start their day right. I never thought I’d be that person as I tend to spend the first few hours of the day bleary eyed and scrolling through Instagram. Read more: Musings: Why I Love Mornings This day, however,…
Viet Eat, Holborn – Review
Last week I headed on down to Viet Eat in Holborn after work to try out all things fresh, authentic, healthy and of course Vietnamese. Who doesn’t love more than trying out new places to eat around London? Sometimes the chain restaurants dominate the scene, but its an absolute must to support those smaller places too….
Mad Hatter Tea – Review
If you’ve never heard of Café Wonderland… I’m sure you’ve been wondering about it. They are a family run business in the North of England, Yorkshire to be precise and their team holds over 25 years’ experience in the food and beverages industry. You can bet they know their stuff and if it’s one thing…
Musings: My London Foodie List – Where to Eat in London?
I love food. Food is fuel. I love finding out about new restaurants as they might be ‘cool’. But most of all I love eating with friends, catching up, and just trying something new. I live in London, potentially one of the best places in the world for food (I’m biased). There is somewhere new…
Musings: Be Your Own Bae 🍾
Sometimes I sit in social situations and realise I’m the only one who is single. When did everyone start settling down, coupling up, having kids and just doing all the things that require some paperwork somewhere along the line. Perhaps it’s all been whilst I’ve been on holiday…? I’m not quite sure but the…
