I crave my own company more than I seek out social time with others – a true introvert. There were times during in lockdown where I was completely silent, choosing to be introspective versus reaching out to others just to *feel* something. And now the world is starting to open once again, I need to remember that I need me time more than ever. If you are looking to spend some time with yourself in the near future, here are seven solo date ideas:

The Foodie Guide to Vienna
So here is my foodie round up from my first trip of 2020 and I’m not going to lie I have returned from Vienna struggling to button my jeans and a little out of breath when running for the tube. It’s weird how four days elsewhere can mess up your ‘fitness regime’ but in the spirit of not feeling guilty for overindulging I bring you the foodie guide to Austria…
Solo Adventures In London
Please note, this is a collaborative post with Megabus. You might find it weird that I live in London and I took a little adventure in my city but I have always said this – there is travel at home. London is one fo the most famous cities in the world and I take living…
Mindfulness, Wellbeing And Liberty Living
Mindfulness means non-judgemental awareness of the present moment. Being quiet and befriending yourself can reduce stress and promote mental and emotional well-being. It frees up space in your mind, creating the best environment for learning, creativity and problem-solving. It also improves relationships as it helps you to be more open for social connection.
Greek Cooking with Jet2
Please note, my evening was complimentary thanks to Jet2. I have been waiting to visit Greece FOREVER. If it isn’t the blue roofs of Santorini calling me, it’s the ancient history embodied in Athens or a hidden desire to eat my bodyweight in Tzakiki. Greece really has it all. NEVER APPOLO-GISE I was invited to…
Peabody’s, Holborn – Review
The other week I popped down to Peabody’s Coffee Shop in Holborn to try out their lunch offerings and see the new space. If you work in the area or just happen to pass through, it’s walking distance from Farringdon and Chancery Lane stations. Not wanting to venture solo, I took my blogger buddy Jess from LWIG and the other half of my podcast, The Hustle Hotline, with me.
Miller’s Tap, intu Uxbridge – Review
I opted for a soft drink, panko-crumbed calamari sticks and the Wagyu beef burger trading the chips for sweet potato fries. They came within 10-15 mins of me ordering which was a plus. Not knowing which to try first, I alternated between the calamari sticks and the burger. Best of all, it came to under £20, meaning you can have a meal out alone, with family or friends and not feel like you’re spending over the odds.
Popcorn Shed – Review
Popcorn Shed are a UK company that produce delicious gourmet popcorn, perfect for gifting to a loved one (Where are they?) and packaged in an apt shed design. I was kindly sent some of the range to try by the Popcorn Shed team and I was delighted to try a new brand. Popcorn Shed is one…
Marco Pierre White, Folkestone – Review
I recently headed on down the to the seaside town of Folkestone in Kent to try out Marco’s Pierre White’s latest restaurant. Of course I didn’t head there solo, so when my bestie Emma decided to make a weekend of it, the hotel was booked and our suitcases were packed. It’s necessary to get away…
Dining at M Restaurant With Bookatable
Last Saturday night involved a few of my favourite things, unlimited prosecco, a four course menu and catching up with a good friend. Thanks to Bookatable, I was able to try out a new restaurant too, that being ‘M’. I’m used to going to the same old places, some of which you may discover on…
