Come with me to Machan Kitchen, a Sri Lankan restaurant in Farringdon. Here is what we tried… Standout dishes (I love the with fun names!): The Boss – Tender beef strips marinated in layers of spices. This was spicy and came with a punch! Perfect for those who like to turn the heat up! The…

LUCKY CAT, MAYFAIR – REVIEW
Please note, my meal at Lucky Cat was complimentary. I was invited by the team at Lucky Cat to experience all they had to offer. I should also flag that this was my second time at Lucky Cat, having visited previously in December 2022. I’m usually a try places once kind of person but I…

The Ultimate London Restaurant List
This list is something that has been sitting in my Notes app for a while and given that hospitality has been closed on an off for the past year, it’s only right I do my duty as a blogger and Londoner and share it with you all. The restaurants listed are a mix of fine-dining, bouji on a budget and mid-range.
Solo Adventures In London
Please note, this is a collaborative post with Megabus. You might find it weird that I live in London and I took a little adventure in my city but I have always said this – there is travel at home. London is one fo the most famous cities in the world and I take living…
Evenings Exploring in London Bridge
Once your cross London Bridge, you’ll come across the buzzy area that is Borough Market which is one of the oldest food markets in London, having been in operation since the 12th century. The cobblestones and narrow paths can easily transport you to old London if you just close your eyes. Best of all, if you just want to take a stroll through there will always be something to pique your interest like the smell of fresh bread wafting through…
Peabody’s, Holborn – Review
The other week I popped down to Peabody’s Coffee Shop in Holborn to try out their lunch offerings and see the new space. If you work in the area or just happen to pass through, it’s walking distance from Farringdon and Chancery Lane stations. Not wanting to venture solo, I took my blogger buddy Jess from LWIG and the other half of my podcast, The Hustle Hotline, with me.
Miller’s Tap, intu Uxbridge – Review
I opted for a soft drink, panko-crumbed calamari sticks and the Wagyu beef burger trading the chips for sweet potato fries. They came within 10-15 mins of me ordering which was a plus. Not knowing which to try first, I alternated between the calamari sticks and the burger. Best of all, it came to under £20, meaning you can have a meal out alone, with family or friends and not feel like you’re spending over the odds.
Dining at M Restaurant With Bookatable
Last Saturday night involved a few of my favourite things, unlimited prosecco, a four course menu and catching up with a good friend. Thanks to Bookatable, I was able to try out a new restaurant too, that being ‘M’. I’m used to going to the same old places, some of which you may discover on…
