So here is my foodie round up from my first trip of 2020 and I’m not going to lie I have returned from Vienna struggling to button my jeans and a little out of breath when running for the tube. It’s weird how four days elsewhere can mess up your ‘fitness regime’ but in the spirit of not feeling guilty for overindulging I bring you the foodie guide to Austria…

Peabody’s, Holborn – Review
The other week I popped down to Peabody’s Coffee Shop in Holborn to try out their lunch offerings and see the new space. If you work in the area or just happen to pass through, it’s walking distance from Farringdon and Chancery Lane stations. Not wanting to venture solo, I took my blogger buddy Jess from LWIG and the other half of my podcast, The Hustle Hotline, with me.
Miller’s Tap, intu Uxbridge – Review
I opted for a soft drink, panko-crumbed calamari sticks and the Wagyu beef burger trading the chips for sweet potato fries. They came within 10-15 mins of me ordering which was a plus. Not knowing which to try first, I alternated between the calamari sticks and the burger. Best of all, it came to under £20, meaning you can have a meal out alone, with family or friends and not feel like you’re spending over the odds.
Dining at M Restaurant With Bookatable
Last Saturday night involved a few of my favourite things, unlimited prosecco, a four course menu and catching up with a good friend. Thanks to Bookatable, I was able to try out a new restaurant too, that being ‘M’. I’m used to going to the same old places, some of which you may discover on…
Viet Eat, Holborn – Review
Last week I headed on down to Viet Eat in Holborn after work to try out all things fresh, authentic, healthy and of course Vietnamese. Who doesn’t love more than trying out new places to eat around London? Sometimes the chain restaurants dominate the scene, but its an absolute must to support those smaller places too….
Office Joys You Might Love
I wrote a post the other month about the quirks that come along with working in an office. Some may be a little negative but I wouldn’t stay working in an office if I didn’t enjoy it. It’s a place where you meet people of all different backgrounds and experiences, well especially in London! Here…
Mad Hatter Tea – Review
If you’ve never heard of Café Wonderland… I’m sure you’ve been wondering about it. They are a family run business in the North of England, Yorkshire to be precise and their team holds over 25 years’ experience in the food and beverages industry. You can bet they know their stuff and if it’s one thing…
Brunching at Le Meridien with Bookatable
I love brunch. No longer am I looking for a place for dinner but where offers brunch instead? From scouring the menus to make note of where serves bottomless proseccos or mimosa, brunch is a definite part of my present and future. Not only that and maybe this sounds like I’m getting old but I…
Leon – Review
Leon is known for it’s healthy fast food and one wouldn’t usually associate it with all things musical. However on February 13th, a brand new concept came to fruition, in the heart of London’s Theatreland featuring a forty-strong team of singers from all over the UK. What makes this Leon branch different is that diners are…
Musings: My London Foodie List – Where to Eat in London?
I love food. Food is fuel. I love finding out about new restaurants as they might be ‘cool’. But most of all I love eating with friends, catching up, and just trying something new. I live in London, potentially one of the best places in the world for food (I’m biased). There is somewhere new…
